description of 'The People's Choice': "Trademark ™ ontwikkelde een tentoonstelling naar aanleiding van gesprekken met cultuurwoordvoerders van de Tweede Kamerfracties van VVD, D66, PvdA, CDA en GroenLinks.
Make access for all': Given is the overall concept of 'The People's Choice' and the request to some 30 artists for a small figurative and narrative object on a particular theme and motto to fit in one of the 6 thematic show-cases. My contribution to the show is a sensory translation of the given motto 'Make access for all' and the ideas of Mrs. J. van Nieuwenhoven (PvdA) on the theme of 'Solidarity'. The result is a tray of stainless steel with 5 packs of coffee (Fair Trade, without wrapper) in the 'Solidarity' show-case. The coffee packs are cut open on top and squeezed in the middle to give them a dramatic posture. On the opposite wall of the show-case is an electric scent diffuser with synthetic coffee flavour. The museum space is laden with coffee aroma.
